The Franklin County’s Junior Varsity continued their good hitting from Thursday night into Saturday afternoon, when they defeated Jac-Cen-Del’s JV by a score of 14-2. The Wildcats had 11 hits on the afternoon, and really did a good job of running the bases well in the contest.

Offensively, here are some of the leaders for the JV Wildcats.

Kylie Lea – 3 Singles, 3 Runs Scored
Bree Bischoff – 1 Single, 1 Double, 2 Runs Scored, 1 Walk, 1 RBI
Kiya Rains – 1 Single, 1 Double, 1 RBI
Hadlee Hornsby – 1 Double, 3 Runs Scored, 1 RBI, 2 Walks, 3 Stolen Bases

Bree Bischoff picked up the win in the circle for the Wildcats. Bree went all five innings, allowing two hits, two runs (none earned), no walks, and nine strikeouts.

Tith the win, the Junior Varsity Wildcats record improves to 2-1 on the season. They will be back in action Thursday evening following the varsity game. Their opponent will be Batesville and the game is on the road. Varsity first pitch is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
