The Lady Wildcats struggled to rally against conference rival Connorsville. There were pockets of great team play but overall the effort wasn’t the typical level Franklin County is capable of. Two back to back games in 95 degree heat was certainly a factor.

Grace Noble scored the only goal on a PK after she was tripped up in the box. Typically, the fouled player doesn’t take their own shot after a hard hit but Grace was under control and didn’t get banged up. She had a beautiful shot in the upper right 90.

Jordan Nichols lead the team with 3 shorts on goal and Karlie Hahn had 2 saves.

The JV and swing players in attendance put together half a JV game and won 5-0. Kaylin Knapp scored 2, Lily Knapp scored 1, Taylee Conrad scored 1 and Claudia “Tatiana” Mauntel scored 1.

The Lady Wildcats end their regular season with a record of 8-7-1. They have a first round BYE in the Sectional Tournament but take on South Dearborn at 5 pm on Thursday October 10th at Lawrenceburg High School.
