The Lady Wildcats were back in action on Saturday after a much needed break last week. The break seemed to have paid off! The team was able to post a score of 369 to win the Connersville Invitational. It’s the teams 2nd tournament win of the season. Junior, Gracie Graf, was low for the team with a score of 88 which also earned her a top 5 finish. Senior, Ashlan Hill, posted a personal best with a score of 94.
“After a much deserved break last week the team came out a little slow on Saturday but was able to remain patient and hold it together to post a decent score. I kept telling them all day that the course we were playing wasn’t going to allow anyone to play perfect golf. It’s a tough course with a lot of water and tight driving holes. Most teams will shoot 5-10 strokes higher than normal on a course like this. I’m proud of this team and their consistent play throughout the year. It’s been a real team effort and each and every player has contributed to this teams success.”

Maggie Brack – 90
