Franklin County Wildcats JV sailed to an easy victory over Rising Sun 13-5 on Thursday in a game shortened due to the chilly temperatures.
Franklin County Wildcats JV tallied six runs in the third inning. Franklin County Wildcats JV batters contributing to the big inning included Makaylee Woods, Sarah Bare, Kiya Rains, and Kaylynn Rauch, all knocking in runs in the inning.
Bare earned the win for Franklin County Wildcats JV. She allowed two hits and four runs over two innings, striking out four. Karlie Hahn threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
#9 took the loss for Rising Sun. She allowed five hits and eight runs over three innings, striking out one.
Franklin County Wildcats JV collected six hits on the day. Bare and Laura Hildebrand each collected multiple hits for Franklin County Wildcats JV. Hildebrand and Bare each managed two hits to lead Franklin County Wildcats JV. Franklin County Wildcats JV didn’t commit a single error in the field. Emily Wendel had the most chances in the field with six.
