Franklin County High School 11th 373

The Lady Wildcats finished their season with an 11th place finish out of 18 teams at the Lapel Regional hosted by Edgewood CC on Saturday. The team shot a 373 with Junior, Maggie Brack, and Sophomore, Camryn Brewer, tying for low on the team with a score of 89. This was a personal best score for Camryn Brewer.
“Well it certainly wasn’t our best day. We started out very slowly with some big numbers on the first 9 holes. We rebounded a little and turned in a respectable back 9 score. There were quite a few teams that my team had beaten in earlier tournaments this season that edged us out today. I was proud of my team for turning it around on the back 9. They were put into a situation where they very easily could have given up but they fought back and turned in the best score they could. Although the season didn’t quite end the way we wanted it to my team can hold their heads up high for having yet another successful year. We lose a very strong senior, Abby Orschell, but we will continue to build on all our successes and look forward to another great season next year.”

Maggie Brack – 89
Abby Orschell – 97
Gracie Graf – 98
Camryn Brewer – 89 (personal best)
Ashlan Hill – 112
