The unseasonable heat slowed down most members of the Wildcat boys cross country team. The exception was freshman, Ben Maze. He just missed finishing in the top twenty with his time of 19:43. His 21st place finish earned him a spot at the Rushville regionals next Saturday. Sophomore, Drew Grant, struggled with the heat and finished with a time of 19:59. His time still earned him a spot at the regionals. The final runner from Franklin County to earn a spot at regionals was junior, Tanner Lainhart. Franklin County needed to place in the top 5 teams to move onto regionals as a team. They just missed the 5th place by 29 points. The team is proud of Kyle Seibert, Adam Grant, Cole Klusman, and Eric Schwab for giving their best on the course and helping Franklin County to have one of their best seasons, yet!
