Franklin County Wildcats finished their season last night with a record of 8-13. They lost in the first round of state tournament play to Batesville. The Wildcats started off strong knocking down shots and executing their offense and found themselves up 1 after the first quarter. 13-12. The Wildcats struggled in the second quarter getting out scored 15-7. At half time they were down 28-19. The third and fourth quarters were competitive but the Wildcats could not overcome the deficit. The Wildcats lost 47-38.
Sophomore Chad Cox led us with 23 points and 8 rebounds.
Senior Drew Dixon in his last game for the Wildcats scored 6 points off of two big three pointers in the first half.
