Franklin County Boys Varsity Basketball team was able to get a huge win Saturday night. The Wildcats were 3-6 entering the night playing against 6-3 Oldenburg. The Wildcats entered half time down 22-15. The Wildcats were able to figure out Oldenburg’s zone defense and really started to score in the second half. The Wildcats were able to pull away and stay in the lead in the fourth quarter to win the game. The Wildcats enter the second half of the season with a 4-6 recond and a lot to feel good about.
The Wildcats were led by Sophomore Chad Cox with 28 points. Freshman Brant Ertel had 20 points and Sophomore Bridger Bolos did a tremendous job of defending Oldenburg’s Jake Johnson.
The Wildcats are back in action Saturday night at Union County.
