Wildcats News · Members of Track Team Break Records over the Weekend


Franklin County High School Track team participated in two indoor meets over the weekend at the University of Indianapolis and East Central.  Numerous athletes had record-breaking days.

  • Cole Klusman PRed in the 800 running a 2:26 to lead our team in that event.

  • Senior Captain Taylor Stewart PRed in the 800 meters.  She was close to her outdoor PR.

  • Zayne Reed vaulted for the first time.  Clearing 8’ 6” in his debut.

  • Adam Grant PRed in the 800!

  • Kyle Siebert PRed in the 800m!

  • Audrey Reister PRed in the 200 meters!

  • Katelyn Meyer breaks the school record in the 400!!   1:06.22

  • Sam Westerfeld threw a huge PR  with a 39’ 10”.

  • Monster PR by Cam Smith… I mean monster PR.  39’ 11” PRing by 4 feet

  • Jacob Tharp with a PR today in the Shot put!

  • Rookie Freshman Jenna Bruns over 4’2 in high jump!

  • Hunter Tschaenn PRed in the 60m by .19 seconds which is a huge drop.  His time of 7.40 is just .02 seconds off the sophomore record.

  • Lauren Kelley PRed by 25 seconds in the 3200m run in a battle of a race. 12 minutes 13 seconds was her time beating her own school record

  •  Helena Goutsis breaks the school record in the 60m hurdles.

  • Ashlan Hill breaks her own school record, jumps 16’ 10” and WINS  the long jump, just missing the meet record.

  • Brady Bogan breaks the school record in the 60m Hurdles, 9.21.

  • Bailey Parkhurst PRs and breaks the 30-foot barrier.  Official mark 30’ 4”
