Meet Recap

The South Dearborn cross country invitational on Saturday, September 16th, was a meet full of personal records for the Wildcat girls cross country team. Freshman, Lauren Kelley, placed 7th, and her time of 20:37, broke Franklin County’s cross country record for the girls. The previous record was 20:49, set by Ashley Harnishfiger in 2012. Junior, Taylor Stewart was the 2nd fasted runner for FC. Seniors, Navalynne Beck and Kat Putnick set personal records, as well as sophomores, Kairee Hodapp and Devyn Kerr. Freshman, Josie Selm set another personal record with a time of 25:20. She has lowered her time by more than 6 minutes this season. The Lady Wildcat runners are defininitely moving in the right direction this season.
