Game Recap

Franklin County dropped their first game of the season on Thursday night against Lawrenceburg, 9-5. In the middle of the 6th, weather moved into the area and forced a lengthy delay which eventually led to the game being called. According to conference rules, the scores was reverted back to the last full inning to make it a 9-5 final score. Offensively, the Wildcats were led by Brennan Meyers (2 doubles) and Joe Monroe, each with 2 hits. Monroe and Logan Winters each had 2 RBI’s and Blake Ripperger knocked in one as well.

The Wildcats are 7-1 (3-1) and will travel to 1A #1 Hagerstown on Friday night before traveling to Rushville for a conference doubleheader on Saturday.
