On Saturday, February 4th the Fc wrestlers traveled to New Castle High School to compete in Semi-State. They finished 21st place.

106-Jacob Lee fell to Gabe Smith of Lawrence Central by pin in 0:56
132-Stevie Browning fell in the first round to Zak Bowling of Lebanon by decision, 5-8
138-Dyllion Humbert fell in the first round to Cooper Noehre of Greenfield-Central by decision, 9-14
145-Mike Humbert won his first round match by disqualification. Then, he fell in quarterfinals to Darian Padgett of North Central by pin in 2:19.
170-Jake Orschell fell in first round to Logan Miller of Frankton by decision, 1-7.
182-Michael Bohman won first round match against Josue Hill of Zionsville by decision, 5-2. In the quarterfinals, he then fell to Cameron Simmons by major decision, 4-15
220-Blake Ripperger won his first round match against Corbin Mata of Frankfort by decision, 7-3. In the quarterfinals, he fell to Andy Guhl of Indianapolis Cathedral in overtime, 1-3
285-Tyler Selm won his first round match against Jacob Obst of Indianapolis Cathedral by decision, 6-0. Then, in quarterfinals, Selm defeated Jaden Powell of Speedway by pin in 2:19. In the semifinals, Selm fell to Robert Samuels of Lawrence Central by decision, 2-5. However, Selm redeemed himself in the third-place match by defeating Clark Minges by decision, 5-1 to redeem himself from the Regional defeat to Minges.
Selm will advance to wrestle in the State Tournament on Friday, February 17, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
