Multiple Teams · Coaches Corner with volleyball coach Garver

After great wins last week versus Union County, Northeaster, and Lawrenceburg on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, the Lady Wildcats were preparing to face their next opponent: the Batesville Bulldogs. We sat down with Coach Scott Garver to ask hum what his thoughts were on the upcoming match, We asked Coach Garver what kind of things he and his team are doing to prepare for Batesville. His response, “We are working on the things that we made mistakes on the first time we played them- the mental and physical errors.” We talked to the coach about how well his defense and offense are working, he replied, “It should be pretty strong, we are moving our feet a lot better and getting to more balls than we have been.” We proceeded to ask him what the biggest threat from Batesville was, he responded, “Their big middle and their scrappiness.” Our final question was whether it was going to be a more difficult fame, he replied, “They all are difficult. We don’t know which team us going to show up and come ready to play.” Coach Garver and his team hope to be 11-6 after tonight’s match up.
