Game Recap

Lady Wildcats JV and Varsity put on a dazzling display of preventing shots and holding the massive squad of subs and starters of East Central at bay for the first half in both games. What came down finally to a roster numbers game , the strong skilled Trojans over whelmed the Lady Wildcats in the second halves of each game. Tired and physically beat, FCHS defensive barriers finally succumbed to the constant barrage of attempted shots and attacks to give up 4 additional goals in the second half for Varsity and 2 for JV. FCHS will need to look to create a more balanced game, their offense was stunned by EC’s Diamond 4 who held them to single digit shots. The offense will need to step it up if the Wildcats are to perform as well as last year . Noted however that it was clear that their defensive game has climbed a notch. The team this year is anchored by Senior Terese Ariens in goal who’s stunning saves, quick response and dives had her look as if she was with “Cirque Du Soleil”. The JV goalies , Ashton Bruns and Sarah Weaver both showed strong performances in their first games as keepers.
