Wildcats News · United Way of Franklin County needs your help for a “Day of Caring.”

Attention Adults and Students

The United Way of Franklin County is desperately in need of volunteers to help with the “Day of Caring”this Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8:30 to 1:00.  It’s a great opportunity to help out members of the community by raking leaves, washing windows, or doing other small chores to help get ready for the winter months.

This experience looks impressive on scholarship and college applications.  Currently, we have 23 clients who need our help, but not enough workers to get the jobs done.  Please consider getting a group together and joining us for the morning.  We need lots of students and also adults to help with transportation and supervision.  We will meet at the Works of Mercy Center on Main Street at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday for donuts, a picture, and job assignments.   If interested, please contact Kathy O’Bryan (765-265-5651) or Kelly Bulmer at the United Way office (647-2789).  We hope to have the crews organized by this Wednesday at noon.
