Girls Junior Varsity Golf, Girls Varsity Golf · Lady Wildcats Golf has a Strong Showing at Conference Tournament

It was a perfect afternoon for the Lady Wildcats to welcome all the conference teams to Brook Hill Golf Club for the annual EIAC tournament.
The team played hard today and shot a team score of 366. The score was good enough to earn 3rd place honors behind Connersville and Batesville.
The Wildcats also had 3 players place in the top 12 which earned them All-Conference honors. Freshman Dana Branstetter – 83 (5th place), Sophomore Taylor Erfman – 85 (6th place), and Freshman Kendyl Brack – 98 (tied for 12th)
This is what Coach Mears had to say about the day, ” I couldn’t be prouder of my team’s performance today. We gave it our best shot and turned in a solid round. In years past the score we shot today would have been good enough to win but we have some really strong teams in our conference and we came up a few strokes short. We set a school record for 18 holes today and this will only help our confidence heading in to next weeks Sectional tournament.”
