Meet Recap

The Wildcat Girls Cross Country team accomplished a first for Franklin County High School at the Connersville Sectional meet on Saturday, October 7th. They are the first FCHS Girls Cross Country Team to qualify for regionals as a team. The Lady Wildcats placed 3rd, out of 10 teams, with a score of 99. This 3rd place finish qualified them to move on. Freshman, Lauren Kelley, was the top Franklin County runner. She placed 3rd out of 67 runners. Sophomore, Katelyn Meyer’s time of 23:46, placed her in the top twenty with a 17th place finish. Taylor Stewart, Kairee Hodapp, Josie Selm, Novalynne Beck, and Kat Putnick all ran a competitive race. The team will continue to train for regionals in Rushville on Saturday, October 14th. Congratulations to these ladies for a phenomenal sectional performance.
