Sophomore pitcher Kamryn McCool earned (3rd Team) All-State honors from the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) for the “Big School” (3A/4A) division. Her .455 batting average, 2.21 ERA and 181 strikeouts were among some of the top numbers throughout the state of Indiana. In addition to her state recognition, Kamryn was also voted by the EIAC coaches as co-MVP of the conference.

And last summer, Franklin County Softball seniors Summer Libecap and Ashton McDaniel were both recognized by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) for their academic achievements during high school. Summer earned Academic All-State honors and Ashton was an Honorable Mention for the same award. Summer will continue her studies at Northern Kentucky University where she plans to continue her playing softball as well. Ashton is off to Ball State University to further her education. Great job ladies!
